Simply’s official charity for 2024 is Cancer Research UK.
This cause is very close to the hearts of the Simply team and, sadly, our story is one of many. Our response began when our team collectively raised £12,700 over a 10-week campaign in December 2022 – January 2023. Since then, we have established other fundraising traditions including completing a walking challenge and holding “The Simply Cup”, our charity 5-a-side tournament, which in 2024 raised £21,646 for Cancer Research.
At Simply, we are very proud to support such a wonderful cause in any way we can. Cancer Research’s history goes back 120 years, and their impact is enormous.
The steps we have taken to raise funds for the cause have further strengthened Simply’s culture, fostering a sense of purpose, teamwork, and compassion.
Grace was 27 when she took her own life after 14 years of battling depression and anxiety and feeling like there wasn’t anyone she could turn to. The charity was chosen after a shortlist of charities was put to a company-wide vote. Simply will match all monies raised throughout the next 12 months, pound for pound.
