The role

We have a fantastic opportunity to join our sales support team. We’re looking for someone who wants to begin or develop their career in an exciting start-up. The role provides the opportunity to build knowledge of sales processes, as well as the logistical side of them, in an asset finance setting. You will be working directly with the field sales team, introducers and customers ensuring that sales go through and amazing customer service is delivered at all steps of the process.

The role

We are looking for a candidate with a positive and proactive approach to work, who wants to be part of a fast-growing business and a fast growing team. The ideal candidate would have customer service experience, this being in an office or retail setting. Complaint experience preferred but not essential.

The candidate must be a driven individual and passionate about delivering a good customer service. Be inspired to exceed customer expectations, handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution. Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts and file documents. Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies.

Key requirements
  • A genuine passion for delivering outstanding, professional customer service – experience preferable.
  • Excellent communication skills – written and oral.
  • Good numerical skills and attention to detail, in order to support in-life processes such as customer settlements and repayment queries.
  • Have the ability to listen and to understand what the query is by asking the right questions, then resolving them for the customer.
  • Able to work within a team and help create a positive, working environment.
  • Experience in dealing with CRM systems or the ability to learn new system processes.
  • Experience within the Asset Finance industry or the ability to learn about the finance products we offer.
  • Have the ability to help create and write customer service procedures
  • Self-motivated and a passion for excelling.
Key responsibilities
  • Handling all telephone enquiries from both prospective and existing customers.
  • Responding to customers quickly and effectively, ensuring that every customer interaction has a positive outcome.
  • Responsible for all in-life processes, such as settlements, reschedules, account queries.
  • Liaise with internal departments assisting with both in life requests & customer queries
  • Maintain customer data to ensure it is up to date
  • Identification of improvements and changes that will further enhance our customer service delivery.
  • Ensuring the service we provide is representative of our values.
  • Responding to customer complaints in line with regulation

The role

This wide reaching and exciting role offers the opportunity to work across Financial Crime work streams including anti-money laundering, fraud prevention and transactional monitoring. The workload is diverse and includes investigations, research, analytical assessments of due diligence and screening alerts. Additionally, you will be engaged in all aspects of the company’s Compliance and Operational Risk activities, carrying out regular compliance tasks and ensuring that appropriate records are kept and maintained. You will also be expected to complete written reports and ad hoc project work.
