Like most websites and apps, the Simply Asset Finance website and Simply Asset Finance Customer App “Simply App” use cookies. On this page we’ll explain more about cookies and how we use them to make your browsing experience better. By using this website or logging into the Simply App you are agreeing to this policy,  and consenting to our use of cookies in accordance with the terms of this policy. We’ll also give you guidance on how to ‘Block’ and ‘Delete’ cookies.

What is a cookie?

We use both session cookies and persistent cookies on this website and session cookies only within the Simply App.

Why do we use cookies in our Website?

The cookies used on the website include those which are ‘necessary’ cookies for access and navigation, cookies that track usage (necessary cookies) and cookies that provide you with targeted content or advertising (marketing cookies).

Why do we use cookies in our App?

We use cookies and similar technologies in our app when you first register and to check that it’s you when you’re using the app. By using our app you accept how and when we use cookies.

We need to use cookies to enable our app to work properly. We use cookies to collect information about how you use the app, which then helps us to make the app better.

The Cookies on our Site and within the App?

When you use the website, you may also be sent third party cookies. These are common in scenarios when entering the website through search engines or clicking on links to external websites, in particular social media.

How can you block cookies?

Internet Explorer Click “Tools”, “Internet Options”, “Privacy”, and select “Block all cookies” using the sliding selector;

Firefox Click  “Tools”, “Options”, and un-check “Accept cookies from sites” in the “Privacy” box.

Google Chrome Click “Options”, “Under the hood”, Content Settings in the “Privacy” section. Click on the Cookies tab in the Content Settings.

How can you delete cookies?

You can also delete cookies already stored on your computer:

1. Internet Explorer manually delete cookie files;
2. Firefox “clear private data” (this setting can be changed by clicking “Tools”, “Options” and “Settings” in the “Private Data” box) and then clicking “Clear private data” in the “Tools” menu. Cookies option will need to be selected.
3. Google Chrome Adjust your cookie permissions by clicking “Options”, “Under the hood”, Content Settings in the “Privacy” section. Click on the Cookies tab in the Content Settings.

Doing this may have a negative impact on the usability of many websites.

4. Simply App To remove cookie usage within the App you will need to delete the App from your device. This is due to cookies providing Simply with key usage data to ensure the App is functioning correctly.
