I have over 30 years’ experience in the asset finance sector, having held many senior positions. In 2017 I founded Simply, with a vision to attract the best people and work as one team to help customers and brokers secure the funding they need.

I believe that there is an opportunity to challenge the current industry status quo, and I am focused on recreating the customer experience by challenging current standards. I am also passionate about encouraging cross-sector collaboration, which will help all small and medium enterprises across the UK grow and prosper.

I am on the board of the Leasing Foundation, with a focus on innovation and actively developing young talent.

I am a lawyer by trade with over 15 years’ experience in the financial services sector across Europe and Asia Pacific, and I have vast experience in building and managing business operations.

After working in several different functions and organisations, being able to build a company from scratch and get it right from the very beginning is a dream come true.  By combining new technology with the best teams, I am able to create a platform which will drive innovation and deliver a superior customer experience, ultimately allowing people’s ambitions and ideas to become a reality.

I am a qualified accountant, contributing significant and varied experience from my 15-year career in financial services to Simply. I have a degree in econometrics from the University of Stellenbosch, South Africa.

For a long time, I recognised that the current banking/funding model had to change to prioritise SMEs so that they can grow and flourish. By being part of the entrepreneurial team that founded Simply, I have been able to build a bridge from the funders to enable the success of UK entrepreneurs.

I am responsible for Simply’s sales force and have over 21 years’ experience in the asset finance industry, in both direct and broker markets.

Because I am passionate about creating a seamless, easy and pleasant end-to-end experience for both customers and brokers alike, I have successfully built a team of some of the best people in the industry. They are real people that speak your language.

I have been in the financial services industry for over 40 years and during that time I have developed specialist knowledge in SME sectors such as manufacturing, print and engineering. Early retirement was an option before Simply was founded but I realised that joining the team was an opportunity too good to miss – and I haven’t looked back since!

I fervently believe in the power of team work, particularly with brokers, because it is vital that providers and intermediaries form a mutually beneficial relationship to meet customer needs.

I am general counsel at Simply, overseeing all legal and HR matters. I previously worked as legal counsel at a number of institutions, after starting out and spending the first ten years of my career at Slaughter and May.

I am Chief Risk Officer at Simply, after seven years at Close Brothers, most recently as commercial Head of Underwriting. Prior to that, I spent eight years at PwC where I qualified as a chartered accountant.

I joined Simply in 2020, starting my career as a Payouts Coordinator. In my second year I was promoted to Senior Payouts Coordinator. What I like about Simply is that they help your career progress and get you involved in different things going on in the business. Your input plays a pivotal part in how the company grows in the future. They also encourage shadowing different teams in the business to get an insight into how everything works.

During my free time I enjoy playing football, I would like to say I enjoy going to the gym but, unfortunately this is something I have to force myself to do.

I’m originally from Halifax but moved to Doncaster since meeting my girlfriend two years ago. We bought our first home together in March this year. I’ve always worked in the motor trade, having worked for TrustFord since I was 19 years old. I spent the last three years in commercial vehicle sales, specialising in fleet and broker sales. I’m looking forward to working with different kinds of assets and learning all about my customers.

I have worked within the construction industry for the last 8 years, working my way up from Area Sales Management, Key Accounts and then onto managing a team of Business Development Managers – which I really enjoyed as I love to coach, develop and support. I recently moved to Kent (with my two fluffball Pomeranians). Outside of work I love travelling and am also a bit of a foodie so enjoy cooking and going out for nice dinners. I am looking forward to the challenge ahead, working with a great team and a diverse range of customers.

I started my asset finance journey in 2005, working at both ING Lease UK Ltd and Aldermore before I joined Simply. In my spare time I am a keen golfer, footballer, and Crystal Palace fan.

I’m a very upbeat, glass-half-full’ kind of person. I started out 26 years ago as a Fleet Administrator, later progressing to sales. Previously I have been Divisional Corporate Sales Manager for VW Commercial, Mercedes-Benz and Stellantis Group. I was more recently Head of UK National Fleets for Mercedes-Benz HGV Trucks. Outside of work I am quite an outdoorsy person, often spending time paddle-boarding and kite-surfing.

I started working within financial services straight from leaving school at 18. For the past 38 years I have had a variety of roles from dealing with insurance death claims and maturities, customer services, complaints, compliance, risk, financial crime, quality assurance and data protection.

I have had a wonderful career, worked for great firms, and learnt from some fantastic people. However, I can honestly say that I have never been as happy as I am now in my current role.
To work with people who care about you, where leadership always wants to do the right thing, and who allow you to make mistakes is so refreshing.

I have over 25 years’ experience of IT services and management and I have worked in various sectors from Finance & banking, Public Sector, Hospitality and Managed Service Providers. I simply love tech! A goal for me is to ensure we have the right technology and tech partners that enhance the Simply experience both internally and externally.

I strongly believe that “in order to predict the future you have to create it!” So outside of work, I want to be good at tennis and I have started taking lessons, trying my best to move my big frame around the court. I love Sci-Fi and yes, I am Trekkie and love Marvel characters.

I have 5 years experience in the Asset Finance industry and I joined Simply for my first role out of university as a Broker Support Executive. After learning the business and working with our brokers and customers on a daily basis, I transitioned into a communications role to manage Simply’s PR, internal and external communications.  I believe the way we communicate and tone of voice is extremely important, especially to reinforce our customers trust in us as a partner as well as to enhance our culture internally.

Outside of work I love to keep active by participating in a variety of exercise classes, playing tennis or a run. I also dabble in shooting 35mm film photography as a hobby and hope to find some time to do a course to learn more about photography!

I’m 33 and I’m from Leeds. I’m a dad of two boys, James and Jacob, (11 and 8) and married to a lady who also happens to be called Ash – weird, right? I’ve been a sales professional for over a decade and have been fortunate enough to have worked with some incredible brands such as Porsche and Mercedes-AMG. My time spent there has allowed me to hone my skills in building relationships and delivering a different level of customer service. When I’m not at work or with the family, you’ll find me out and about with our border collie, Cujo.

As a developer, I work on implementing new features, UI/UX improvements and bugfixes for the apps at Simply. During a career break in 2019, I took time out to learn to code in Bali before returning to home to London to start my career in tech. Aside from coding, I also enjoy painting and pursuing other creative hobbies in my spare time.

I have worked in the financial sector since 1985 – employed across a number of finance companies and banks and I also operated my own finance brokerage – building many long-term relationships in that time. I am a Liverpool supporter and also enjoy playing squash and golf.

I have been in Asset Finance for over 8 years, and have worked from both a lender and broker perspective. I specialise in the construction, transport and manufacturing sectors. As well as being a lifelong Coventry City FC fan, I am also an active member of my local GAA club (Gaelic Athletic Association) meaning that my weekends are mostly spent playing Gaelic Football and Hurling.

I live in Preston, however I was born in Simons Town in South Africa and lived most of my life in the County town of Kent, Maidstone. I am 5 years’ married and we have an amazing son called Harrison. I am a movie buff, I swim, and support Chelsea FC and Maidstone United. I have been in the automotive industry since just after leaving school – I started out at a family-run Vauxhall dealership, progressed to Regional Sales Manager at Enterprise and beyond, and learned a lot along the way. I am also a consistent advocate for Chamber of Commerce networking events.

I have a degree in criminology but have transferred my skills to focus on a career in asset finance. I spend a lot of my day to day building a rapport with customers and helping with the development of our new Liverpool office. In my free time, I love spending time in nature and will happily walk for miles if there is a mountain or a great view at the end of it!

I joined Simply in September 2022 right after graduating university. It has been my first job in the finance industry but also my first full-time job in general. I knew I had to jump straight in to learning all about the industry and the world of Payouts. The team have taught me the ropes which allow me to process a variety of deals and to test my knowledge as every deal is different! I have gained the ability to check financial documents, calculate and check rental profiles, rates and commissions. I am looking forward to growing with the Simply team as I am undergoing my Asset Finance diploma to expand my knowledge in the industry. Outside of work I love to spend time with my two dogs, Winnie and Sam, and spending quality time with friends and family. But I also enjoy the comfort of my own company, where I can watch a bit of TV or enjoy a thriller book or two.

I have been in the asset finance sector in and around Yorkshire since 1995, working with many small to medium-sized business across all sectors. I thrive in providing a personal and informative service to my customers. I am a family man with three children and live near Sheffield, ideally placed to serve the local business community.

I work in broking out at Simply, where we help with our customers’ additional finance needs (where they are outside of Simply’s appetite) and continue to support them as they grow. We work alongside our direct sales team, to recommend opportunities to a selected panel of Funders. I am new to the asset finance sector, having previously worked as Sales Executive for Toyota GB. I am also a qualified chef! Outside of work I love cooking and learning new recipes from around the world. I can also be found spending time with my wife and our two puppies.

Based in the North West of England, I combine the ability to provide knowledge and understanding with my expertise in assisting and enabling businesses to grow. Having worked as an operator myself, I understand the complexities of running a small business and believe in providing a professional yet personal approach. I am here to help SMEs achieve their potential.

I am a technical service analyst at Simply, responsible for attending, investigating, and resolving technical issues that are reported within the business. I have always worked in tech with my previous experience being in the education industry. Simply is the first asset finance company I have worked for over my six years in Tech. Since joining Simply, I’ve grown to truly value the opportunity for progression within the organisation and, most significantly, the individuals within the company.

Outside of work, I am a huge football and basketball fan so anything to do with sports and wellbeing is of interest to me. I also enjoy going to the gym and cinema during my spare time.

Hello! I’m Darryl and I’m from Inverness in the beautiful Highlands of Scotland. My background is mostly the financial sector – I worked for the Bank of Scotland for 17 years and then with a commercial broker, before joining Simply. Outside of work I play golf and like to do a bit of hill walking (can’t live in the Highlands and not be outdoors!) The thing I am most looking forward to at Simply is genuinely helping people and making a difference to the local community.

I have spent 28 years in the finance industry and specialises in the transport and engineering sectors. Based in the North West of England, I am dedicated to providing fast responses and innovative finance solutions to ,y customers. In my spare time, you can find me fishing, shooting and playing golf.

I’m 33 and live in Ellesmere Port with my husband and two children. My career has been varied, having begun as a hairdresser before moving into sales. I’ve worked in the truck and van leasing industry for the past five years, and I look forward to developing further in the asset finance space at Simply. Outside of work I love getting creative with a new craft or DIY project . I am also a huge advocate for personal development and aim to learn something new every week. For example, I am currently learning sign language.

I have 26 years’ experience in automotive manufacturing, commercial vehicles, heavy plant and transport industries.  A positive customer experience is the heartbeat to how I operate and I pride myself on my knowledge, empathy and ability to understand customer needs whilst providing the right solution. I am Staffordshire born and raised, working mommy with an energetic 2 year old, ideally placed to serve the local business community.

I work in Payouts at Simply, where I am responsible for checking documentation on deals to ensure they are prepared to be sent to finance. The teams I work most closely with are Sales and Broker Support as we all try to resolve any issues we stumble across whilst trying to ensure a deal reaches payout. I find no deal ever seems the same so it keeps me on my toes and I am always learning more about our terms of acceptance. This is my first role within the finance sector. I am so glad I went for it as I love both my role and my team – and every day is different, making it an exciting experience. I look forward to progressing and becoming even more confident in my knowledge. Outside of work I am quite a foodie. I keep a list of all the restaurants I want to try and am slowly making my way through all of them. On days where I just want to chill, I like to stay at home with my dog and cat and stick on a binge-worthy tv show, especially when the weather is cold!

I have over 20 years’ industry experience and joined Simply after nine years at Close Brothers Asset Finance, where I was responsible for the Northern Ireland Asset Finance sales team. I am fully tuned into the funding needs of local small and medium-sized enterprises in the region, and know that there is a growing demand for SME finance. I have full responsibility for Simply’s offering in Northern Ireland and am keen to provide flexible terms and excellent service to my customers. I am also a keen traveller and mountain biker.

I have over 35 years’ experience in the transport industry and have gained a wealth of knowledge from driving and selling trucks, as well as selling new and used plant and equipment. I am also a qualified transport manager and a CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) holder. Well-respected in the industry, I am always happy to help and offer advice when businesses are purchasing any type of equipment. When I am not out visiting customers, I enjoy spending time with my family in Norfolk, live music and playing in my blues band.

I have been in the Asset Finance industry for 11 years, helping SMEs all over the country. I really enjoy providing a personal service to all of my customers, and helping from enquiry through to completion. I am a family man with two children and I live in Woburn, Bedfordshire, but I enjoy travelling to meet mycustomers face-to-face.

I have worked in banking for the last 20 years, having spent time at both Danske Bank and AIB before joining Simply. I have a wide range of experiences, dealing with everything from new start-ups to high-net-worth, well-established businesses.

I have over 25 years’ experience in the business finance sector, supporting dealers, manufacturers and end-users across the UK and dedicating most of my time to supporting the UK’s construction and recycling industries. Outside of work, I enjoy golf and cricket.

I joined Simply in March 2023 and my current role is to support our valued broker partners by progressing deals from proposal to payout stage, as well as any queries. I really enjoy problem-solving and helping wherever possible! Outside of work, I love playing and watching football.

I have 10 years’ of experience working in finance, across several industries including media, fashion, education and financial services. At Simply I help prepare the monthly management accounts and board pack. I am currently studying to complete my ACCA qualification to become a chartered qualified accountant. I love working at Simply because everyone is friendly and willing to share their knowledge and help whenever needed.

I currently live in Norfolk with my spouse and my daughter. At Simply, I am responsible for creating new business and maintaining existing customer accounts. Prior to this, I gained 25 years of experience selling construction equipment in East Anglia, before working in Germany as a European sales manager for an extended warranty provider in the agricultural & construction machinery industry. My goal at Simply is to be my customers’ go-to person for any financial requirement they may have. My main interest outside of work is classic cars, and I like to take my car to shows and rallies whenever possible.

I come from a purchasing background in the office furniture industry, so this is my first role in Finance. I work in the Sales Support department helping direct sales reps daily to process deals and help with any queries. Outside of work I like to travel and love cooking homemade dishes!

I have worked in Asset Finance for over 20 years in various roles in Operations, Sales Support, Brokering Out, Executive Support and most recently Recoveries. Amongst other tasks, my day-to-day involves managing and reporting on all assets that are due to be recovered as well as managing our Simply Stock list.

I joined Team Simply in February 2020 and have been in the finance industry for 30 years, always employed in a collections and recoveries capacity. I hold a postgraduate certificate in fraud management issued by Liverpool John Moore’s University. This was the very first civilian course of its kind back in 1998, and was run in conjunction with West Midlands Police. I also enjoy road cycling and a park run every Saturday morning – although I think it is the cooked breakfast afterwards that gets me to the finish line. I love going to gigs with Snow Patrol, my favourite band, who I have seen many times over the last 25 years.

I am experienced in dealing with a wide range of businesses, from new starts to well-established firms, as well as high-net-worth individuals. I enjoy working with businesses to help them achieve their full potential. Based in Shropshire, I thrive on providing a professional and personal service to my customers. When I am not working I love spending time with my family.

I have worked for Simply for over two years. I am based in Berkshire and work with businesses throughout the South East.  I have helped over 100 customers to find the right finance solution to fund their assets or business needs. I also work very closely with dealerships to help out their customers.  I previously worked in retail/telecoms management for fifteen years, then in commercial vehicle sales for four years. I pride myself in working closely with my customers to help grow their business by giving exceptional customer service along with expert knowledge,  backed with speed and transparency. When matched with Simply’s tech and support, this creates a first-class experience from the beginning right through to aftercare.  I am originally from Cornwall – so naturally, a born adventurer. I love the outdoors, hiking, and surfing, and my new hobby is now rock climbing. I am an avid environmentalist and believe greatly in doing what we can to reduce our impact on the planet by looking to go green, a topic I am more than happy to discuss.

I am a qualified accountant with 5+ years in Financial Services and 4+ years in Banking. At Simply, I am responsible for leading a team of 4 to produce accurate and timely financial information for the Board and the delivery of our annual accounts for external disclosure. I love the culture at Simply and enjoy the work/life balance it enforces, which allows me to spend quality time with my daughter.

With over 30 years of prior experience in the banking sector I was looking for a new challenge which led me into the world of asset finance with Simply. I have always believed in putting the customer first, which is very much in line with Simply’s values. I am looking forward to delivering asset finance products that make a real difference to our customers businesses, to help them grow and prosper.

I joined Simply in June 2023 after I finished my degree in theatre and then spent a year working in a secondary school, so this is my first experience working with finance. I check deals before authorising the payout, and make sure everything is in order and good to go. Outside of work I enjoy art & design and am trained in musical theatre!

I have spent over ten years financing businesses in the manufacturing sector and have built solid relationships with numerous customers, suppliers, dealers and brokers. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, watching football, and mountain climbing.

I am based in Surrey and have over eight years’ of experience in the asset finance industry. I have become a specialist in the transport, construction and recycling sectors. The highlight of my job is being able to help SMEs start from scratch and be a part of the business growth and development. When not at work, you can find me in the gym, enjoying a glass of wine and, more recently, playing golf.

I have 6 years’ experience working in Finance. I graduated in Accounting and Finance and from there went straight into working in the Council. I am currently a part qualified accountant and currently focusing on completing my ACCA qualification. I have recently taken on new responsibilities at Simply and what I like working about here is that everyone is willing to help one another if you are unsure about anything. I would say I am a creative person and I enjoy experimenting with different henna designs and outside of work I get involved in different charity events.

I am part of the customer service team at Simply, where I help with any and all customer-related queries. My background is varied – I have worked in multiple industries but the common thread is that all my roles have been customer-related. At Simply I really appreciate the opportunity for growth and am keen to progress in my role in any way I can. Outside of work I like to go to the gym, and I enjoy baking for fun.

I joined Simply in 2022 with 6+ years of experience in Human Resources Management including; recruitment/talent management, payroll, HR systems administration, training & development, records management, assistance in policy development and documentation, contract management and much more. I am passionate about championing best practices, health and well-being and equality, diversity and inclusion initiatives to positively support employee experience.

I have worked in asset finance for over 4 years, supporting brokers and introducers in the Midlands, as well as looking after agricultural broker relationships. I am based in West Berkshire and enjoy canoeing, paddle-boarding, and sailing.

I have worked in the banking industry for 16 years, and specifically in the asset finance space for nine of them. I love to spend time with my family and I am a box set aficionado.

I have spent almost 30 years working in the finance industry and have become the ultimate specialist in the construction, recycling and transport sectors. Having experienced every financial scenario imaginable, my knowledge enables me to provide an enviable service to customers. My sole aim when working is to provide first-class service and nothing makes me happier than receiving customer referrals. When not working, who would have guessed that I love anything ‘zombie’ – from watching The Walking Dead to attending Film and Comic Cons. I am also a fanatical Sheffield Wednesday supporter.

Based in Surrey, I have worked in the asset finance industry for over 15 years and in that time I have become a specialist in the transport industry. I concentrate mainly on trucks, trailers, coaches, and volumetric mixer trucks. The highlight of my job is helping businesses grow and supporting them in both good and bad times. When not at work, I love spending time with my twin boys and am an avid rugby fan.

Based in the North West of England, I specialise in the construction and recycling sector and excel in giving the best service to customers. When not working, I enjoy Judo, rock climbing, and rugby.

I’ve lived in Glasgow since 2020 after relocating from the Midlands. I am getting married next year, in Ayr, to my partner Mercedes. My background is in commercial vehicle sales. I’ve worked for Volkswagen, Renault, and Arnold Clark’s vanstore, but majority of my time was with Mercedes-Benz. I’m looking forward to getting to assist all different types of businesses and meeting new people along the way.

I am an experienced underwriter with 35 years’ experience in asset finance, having worked for both major banks and Tier 1 construction manufacturers providing vendor finance solutions. Besides funding to customers in the UK, I have experience funding in Ireland, the Netherlands, the Nordic countries and across the Middle East. In addition to underwriting, I have extensive experience in Collections in the UK and the Republic of Ireland. I am passionate about working with sales to provide a ‘win/win’ solution and providing a good experience for all Simply customers.

I’ve been at Simply for over 2 years having come from a sales career in commercial vehicle sales of over 10 years. I’ve worked with manufacturers such as Renault Trucks, Montracon Trailers & Mercedes-Benz Commercial Vehicles. As Area Sales Manager for Simply my role is working directly with customers across Scotland tailoring a total solution for any finance requirements. I have a passion for supporting SMEs across all sectors, whether that be for growth or to help trade through the tough times. Outside of work I like to keep active by running and going to the gym. Most recently I have been fundraising for local charities for running events such as the Loch Ness Marathon.

I have over 14 years’ of experience in asset finance and six years in the motor trade. I have helped fund many Scottish firms – both new-start businesses and those requiring the refinance of assets for equity release. My expertise is wide-ranging, with specialist knowledge of the transport, construction, and agricultural sectors in Scotland.

I support the General Counsel with the functions of the legal team, which include contract revision and management, regulatory and data protection compliance and ad hoc legal matters. I have 2 years of experience working in legal support roles, and my master’s degree is in commercial and corporate law. I’m on the journey to qualifying as a solicitor. As well as enjoying the type of work I get to do, I really appreciate the culture at Simply and how supportive everyone is of your goals. Outside of work I love to cook, and have recently started (attempting) to play tennis.

I have been in the world of commercial vehicles for most of my life, starting with a HGV technician apprenticeship with British Road Services and later working on several engineering projects.

I can offer my dealers and customers, a quick, transparent service and the right funding solution no matter the complexity of the deal. I am excited about the journey I am on with Simply and believe I am working for a company looking to be the best in the market.

A former IT engineer turned Sales Manager, I enjoy travelling and building new relationships. I have 10 years’ experience selling in the transport sector with 4 years in waste and recycling. I believe that one size doesn’t fit all and, with an eye for detail and history in problem solving, I can help customers with whatever they require to build their businesses, and turn any potential losses into wins.

I have been with Simply almost from the beginning, bringing my 35 years of underwriting experience on 3 continents to the business.  I consider myself a vocal and fierce champion of the importance of affordability in assessing SME credit, and I love to get under the hood and understand what makes a small business tick. I am not quite ready to put my feet up, as I am a strong believer in the role that the asset finance industry can play in the energy transition. When out of the office, I am quite likely sorting postage stamps for collectors around the globe.

Prior to joining Simply I worked in the Metro Bank asset finance division, where I thrived in providing proposal, payouts and customer service support to SMEs and brokers and was nominated for the Leasing World ‘Next Generation Award’. Outside of work, I am a big Chelsea fan, and enjoy spending time with friends and family.

I joined Simply back in 2018, straight out of university. Initially joining the Broker Support team, I moved over to supervise the Sales Support team in 2019, and then progressed to manage the same team in 2020. Having also had exposure to the Credit team over my first few years at Simply, I then applied, and secured, a position as an Underwriter in 2021. Since then, I have looked to support UK & NI SMEs, and hope to continue to grow with Simply.

With 9 years’ experience in the finance industry, my search for a new challenge led me to Simply. I love to chat with customers to explore potential finance options and using my industry knowledge to provide support for SMEs. I have three children, love sports, and volunteers at a local rugby club in my hometown in Yorkshire.

I live in a small countryside town north of Bristol, and I’m married with three children. I have been in the commercial vehicle industry since 2002, having spent the last 9 years with Renault Trucks. When I’m not working I enjoy walking my whippets in the countryside (even better if it involves a pub!) and am currently training for a cross-country race. I’m looking forward to meeting new customers from new industry sectors, and continuing to help businesses that I have known for many years.

Since joining Simply, I initially worked closely with our strategic broker partners across the UK to develop our offering and demonstrate our commercial appetite, and be a supportive funder to their valued SME customers. In recent times, I have progressed to being Head of Scotland where I lead the team as they deliver the Simply offering to customers, brokers and dealers all across Scotland. Prior to joining Simply, I had a long career in the leasing/rental & hard asset finance space, where I worked for a number of funders.

I’m a Broker Support Executive at Simply. Previously, I’ve held positions as a special education teaching assistant and mortgage administrator. I currently combine my new job in asset finance with weekends spent working as a retail assistant. Outside of work, I have a passion for making desserts and am in the process of building a social media platform where I can showcase my love for them. I also enjoy spending time with my siblings and travelling with friends
