Effective from 23 May 2024
1. Simply Asset Finance Operations Limited, registered in England at Harling House, 47-51 Great Suffolk Street, London, SE1 0BS (“Simply”) is the organiser of this prize draw (the “Prize Draw”) and voucher draw (the “Voucher Draw”).
2. The terms ‘entry’ or ‘entries’ refer to the process of registering, in advance of the Hillhead 2024 showcase in Buxton (the “Event”), either for a chance:
3. By entering the Prize Draw or Voucher Draw and submitting your entry in the form as specified in Clause 7, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions (“terms”).
4. Simply reserves the right to refuse entry or refuse to award the prize or voucher to anyone in breach of these terms.
Eligibility
5. The Prize Draw and Voucher Draw are open to all UK residents who received the email from Simply informing them of the Prize Draw and Voucher Draw, aged 18 years or over at the time of entry.
6. Employees of Simply, their families, agents and any third party directly associated with the administration of the Prize Draw or Voucher Draw are not eligible for the Prize Draw or Voucher Draw.
Prize Draw and Voucher Draw Entry
7. Both the Prize Draw and Voucher draw are free to enter and no purchase is necessary.
8. All entries must be submitted via the following survey: https://survey.zohopublic.eu/zs/XlBuHl (the “Form”).
9. Only one entry per business entity is permitted.
10. The opening date for entries is 12:00 pm GMT on 5 June 2024. The closing date for entries is 12:00 pm GMT on 24 June 2024. Entries received after this time will not be accepted and will not be included in the Prize Draw or Voucher Draw.
For Entrants Attending the Event: Winning the Prize Draw
11. For entrants attending the Event, the opportunity to win the prizes will take place on the day(s) of the Event, namely 25 to 27 June 2024 between 9:00 am GMT and 5:00 pm GMT.
12. The winners will be made aware of the prize they have won at the time of playing at the Event.
13. The format of the Prize Draw will be a ‘lucky dip’ whereby all entrants who have pre-registered by submitting an entry via the Form will be supplied with a randomly generated code which unlocks all nine safes displayed at Simply’s stand at the Event. Entrants are invited to join Simply on the Event day to choose one of nine safes to open with the provided code. The safe chosen determines the prize.
14. Subject to availability and Simply’s discretion, all entrants who attend the Event and participate in the Prize Draw will receive a prize.
15. The winners will receive one of a range of prizes, including technology, confectionary, and travel, from the value of £1 up to the value of £1,000.00.
16. The time of redeeming the prize will depend on the nature of the prize drawn in the ‘lucky dip’ on the day of the Event. Some prizes will be redeemable immediately, others will be redeemable by post at a later date. If this is the case, the winner will be notified within 14 days on how to redeem their prize, using the contact details provided at the point of entry.
For Entrants Not Attending the Event: Winning the Voucher Draw
17. Entrants not attending the Event will alternatively have a chance to win a £250 voucher (“Voucher”) to be applied towards a purchase of their choice, including towards any purpose from travel to technology (the “Voucher Draw”).
18. The winner will be selected at random from all eligible entrants by a verifiably random computer process.
19. The winner will be notified via email within 30 days of the Event day.
20. The Voucher can only be applied towards a legal or morally accepted purchase.
21. There will be only one Voucher available to win in the Voucher Draw and therefore there will only be one winner.
Limitation of Liability
22. So far as is permitted by law, Simply, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the entrants or winners or accept any liability for any disappointment, loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of entering the Prize Draw or Voucher Draw or taking up the prize or voucher except where it is caused by the negligence of Simply, its agents or distributors or that of their employees.
23. Simply, its agents and distributors exclude responsibility and all liabilities arising from: (i) any postponement, cancellation or material change of the Event; and (ii) any act or default by a winner resulting in the winner being unable to take up and activate the prize and/or any elements of it.
Data Protection
24. Personal information provided by entrants in registering for these competitions will be used by Simply for the purposes of administering the Prize Draw or Voucher Draw and for marketing purposes. You can unsubscribe from any marketing materials at any time using this link.
25. The winners agree to their personal information being transferred to a third-party postal service/courier company for the purpose of delivering the prize, if required.
26. Personal data supplied during the course of the Prize Draw or Voucher Draw will be processed as set out in these terms and in Simply’s privacy policy which can be accessed here.
General
27. Simply reserves the right to withdraw, suspend or amend the Prize Draw at any time, where it becomes necessary to do so.
28. Simply’s decision regarding any aspect of the Prize Draw or Voucher Draw is final, binding and non-negotiable.
29. The prize for the winner is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternative is offered.
30. Simply reserves the right to substitute the prize with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond Simply’s control make it necessary to do so. Any substitution will be within the entire discretion of Simply. In the event the winner does not accept the substitution they will forfeit their right to the prize.
31. Simply must either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place, if requested by the Advertising Standards Authority.
32. Simply reserves all rights to disqualify an entrant or winner if their conduct is contrary to the spirit or intention of the Prize Draw or Voucher Draw.
33. These terms and the Prize Draw are governed by English law and entrants to this Prize Draw submit to the jurisdiction of the courts in the United Kingdom.
