Simply slashes costs for haulage business and restructures finances to enable growth

Simply was recently introduced to an established logistics and transportation business by our valued broker partner One.funding, that was looking to restructure their finances to improve cash flow and increase opportunity for profitability.

The company operated using a fleet of hired equipment that was incurring high costs, therefore Simply were more than happy to offer a solution that would significantly reduce the monthly outgoings. Simply were able to support with a £335k advance on a 60-month finance lease, for 17 brand new assets including trailers and a slider. As well as this, the customer was eligible for Simply Plus.

Thanks to One.funding being an active user of Simply Connect, the application was submitted and proposed straight into the underwriting queue, allowing One Funding to have better visibility, more control of the progress of the deal, and allowed them to prepare for a smooth transaction for the customer.

With the savings from the restructure of finances, the haulage company were able to reinvest into the business to further fuel growth in areas such as fleet expansion, upgrading of equipment and improving operational efficiencies.
